Greetings from Germany! Zur Post Hotel went digital with Pynbooking
Zur Post is a historic hotel located about 22 km from Cologne, which advertises itself as "open 24 hours a day".
Built-in 1847, Zur Post Hotel is equally preferred by modern German pilgrims who walk the Way of Jacob (route that reaches Spain), by young people attracted by the multiple MTB routes in the area, by digital nomads eager to work in a country landscape, but also by the visitors of the big exhibitions and industrial fairs in the Cologne-Dortmund-Düsseldorf area.
With 22 rooms combining the old and the new, the Zur Post Hotel offers guests who cross its threshold both accommodation and a restaurant with a terrace, a conference room, private parties, and a ballroom.
Business challenges
Zur Post is a hotel with wide open doors to all guests, regardless of where they come from and where they are going. The administrator, Romică Simescu, noted, however, that many foreign guests, who came on the A1 highway from Austria, arrived at the hotel relatively late, sometimes after the Reception had closed.
