Vila Anca Sibiu: zero overbooking, zero experience
Who they are
Vila Anca is a 12-room guesthouse in Sibiu, taken over and reopened by Alin and Anca Moldovan. The two represent the new generation that decided to revitalize the property, but they came with no prior experience in the HoReCa industry. Everything they knew about hotel management had to be learned from scratch.
The challenge
Before Pynbooking, Vila Anca used an international platform that did not integrate with local booking platforms. This limitation meant that reservations from certain channels did not sync automatically, creating a permanent risk of overbooking. For a small guesthouse, an overbooking doesn't just mean an unpleasant situation — it can destroy an online reputation built with great effort.

Additionally, invoicing was not integrated into the existing platform, so Alin and Anca needed separate software just to issue invoices. For someone with no experience in the industry, juggling multiple systems was even more difficult.
The solution
Alin tested Pynbooking on a trial basis and immediately understood that the platform is accessible even for someone without a HoReCa background.

Vila Anca implemented the cloud PMS for room management, Channel Manager for automatic synchronization of all booking channels including local ones, Booking Engine for direct reservations from the website and integrated invoicing directly from Pynbooking, without any additional software.
The results
Overbooking disappeared completely. All reservations, regardless of which platform they come from, sync automatically in real time. Alin and Anca no longer need to manually check availability on each channel individually.
Direct invoicing from the PMS eliminated the need for separate software, simplifying both the workflow and costs. For two entrepreneurs with no HoReCa experience, having everything work from a single place made the difference between stressful management and manageable management.
The Booking Engine on the website allows them to receive direct reservations without commissions, which is essential for a small guesthouse where every margin percentage counts.
What's next
Alin and Anca continue to learn and grow together with Vila Anca. The next step is rate optimization and expanding their online presence on as many booking platforms as possible through the Channel Manager.
