This guide will help you manage your rates more easily using the Tariff Optimizer in your Property Management System.
Tariff Optimizer is a fully automated tool for rate management and distribution, which optimizes your prices (by increasing/decreasing them) starting from the standard level, across all channels, depending on the occupancy rate by Room Type.
Take advantage of even the smallest fluctuations in demand to maximize revenue. Using dynamic pricing ensures that you are always one step ahead of the competition.
- Navigate to Menu
- Open Tariff Optimizer section
Activate Tariff Optimizer
- Select the Occupancy Rate range and Apply Extra charge, percentage + Up / - Down
- Save changes
- Press the Activate button
Done! You have activated the Rate Optimizer, and the changes will be automatically updated every 30 minutes on your website and to all partners.
❗ Tariff Optimizer works best with at least 5 rooms per Room Type.
The percentages previously set as Extra in Channel Manager > Rates & Availability will be overwritten with the new percentages.
Deactivate Tariff Optimizer
- Press the Deactivate button.
- Once Rate Optimizer is deactivated, the prices on your website and from partners will return to the standard ones previously set in Channel Manager > Rate Plans.
