This guide will help you better manage the Reservations Today Situation section in your Property Management System (PMS). Use this module to view the current day's reservations, check-ins, stays, and check-outs sorted by a specific date.
This module is particularly useful for properties with a large number of rooms, where using the grid to manage check-ins and check-outs becomes impractical.
- Navigate Menu.
- Open the Reservations Today Situation section.
- Select the desired date using the field in the upper-right corner.
From this section, you can also access the Add Reservation or Block Room functionalities.
The system displays reservation statuses grouped by their respective categories.
On the left side of the screen, a chart provides an overview of the day's status, showing the number of arrivals, departures, in-house guests, and available rooms. This enables quick access to key information about the current day's reservations.
Arrivals
Here we can view all reservations scheduled for Check-In on the selected date.
A simplified overview of the reservation is displayed, including the client’s name, room and its status, source, reservation period, and balance.
You can use the Search function on the right-hand side of this section for a selective view.
Additionally, you can sort the data in ascending or descending order by using the arrows next to each parameter.
From this section, you also have the option to print the information using the Print button on the left side.
Under the Actions button, you have the following options:
- Open (View Reservation)
- Check-In
- Cancel
- Folio
- Move
📌 Note: To modify a reservation from this section, click Actions > Open to access the reservation details.
If no additional information needs to be added to the reservation, you can complete the Check-In directly from this screen by using Actions > Check-In.
In-House - Check-Outs
Here we can see the reservations that are scheduled to Check-Out on the selected day.
The system displays the same information as in the case of reservations with a Check-In status.
If there is nothing left to collect, we can perform the Check-Out from this screen by clicking the Actions button > Check-Out.
You can use the Search function on the right side of this category to benefit from a selective view.
Additionally, you can sort the data in ascending or descending order by using the arrows next to each parameter.
From this section, you also have the option to print the information using the Print button on the left side.
Under the Actions button, you have the following options:
- Check-out
- Open (Open Reservation)
- Folio
In-House
This section displays all current reservations marked as Checked-in for the selected date.
It includes the same details available in the Arrivals and Departures sections.
You can use the Search function on the right side of this category to benefit from a selective view.
Additionally, you can sort the data in ascending or descending order by using the arrows next to each parameter.
From this section, you also have the option to print the information using the Print button on the left side.
Under the Actions button, you have the following options:
- Open Reservation
- Folio
- Check-out
- Move
Availability
This section shows room availability for the following days, grouped by room type and totals.
Multiproperty Reservations Today Situation
📌 Note: For properties managing multiple locations, if no property filters are applied, the Reservations Today Situationi will display combined data. Reservations will appear in the default order they were entered.
Apply a property filter:
- Go to the left side of the screen.
- Select the property for which you want to display results.
