To understand and efficiently access the complex posting report from the system, follow the steps below:

Understanding the Report

  • Postings represent services or products added to a reservation or a balance.
  • In the report, postings appear in the month of the reservation, not on the date they were added.
  • If the reservation is for the current month, the posting will appear in the sum of the postings for that month.
  • Invoices issued for future reservations are included in the sum of postings for the month in which the reservation was made, but the payments are included in the revenue report for the month in which the invoice was issued.
  • Thus, the sum of the postings may not match the sum of the payments.

By following these steps, you will be able to access and analyze the complex posting report from the system with ease.
