This guide will teach you how to correctly add and configure an offer in the Booking Engine, ensuring it is visible and synchronized with the Channel Manager.
Creating special offers is an effective strategy to increase your property's occupancy rate and attract more guests. Well-designed offers, such as those for holidays like Christmas and Easter, can include minimum stay restrictions, contributing to consistent revenue during peak periods. Use these tools to maximize the appeal and profitability of your offers.
- Navigate to Menu > Booking Engine
- From the menu displayed on the left side, open the Property Offers section.
Add the Offer in the Booking Engine
- Click the Add Offer button and fill in the required information. The offer will be displayed in the booking engine.
- Offer Name: Provide the name of the offer.
- Image: Add a representative image for the offer.
- Description: Enter a detailed description of the offer.
- Rooms: Choose the room types for which the offer will be active.
- Rate Plans: Select the rate plans associated with the offer.
- Discount for Overnight Stays: Set the discount for overnight stays.
- Early Booking Discount: Configure the discount for bookings made well in advance.
- Last-Minute Discount: Define the discount for last-minute bookings.
- Extra Adult Policy: Set the additional charge for extra adults.
- Child Policy: Set the rates for children.
- Active Offer: Check this option to activate the offer in the booking engine.
After completing all the details, save your changes!
📌 Note: Access the Translations tab to add translations for the offer name and description in the desired languages, then save the information.
View Offers
- Access the Property Offers section in the Property menu to view the list of added offers.
- Edit an Offer: Click the Edit button next to the respective offer to update its details.
- Delete an Offer: Click the Edit button, then select the Delete option.
❗ Before deleting an offer, ensure you unmap it from the Channel Manager.
Add the Offer in the Channel Manager
- Create a Rate Plan for the Offer in the Channel Manager
- Go to Rate Plans in the menu.
- Click Add Plan and fill in the necessary details:
- Name: Name of the rate plan associated with the offer.
- Room Type: Select the room type for the rate plan.
- Meal Type Included: Choose the meal type included in the plan.
- Room Account: Enter the daily room account value.
- Status: Check Active to make the plan available.
After completing all the details, save your changes!
Add Rates for the Rate Plan
- Go to the Rates & Availability section in the menu.
- Locate the created rate plan and complete:
- Period: Select the period for which the rate applies.
- Availability: Choose the days of the week for which the rate applies.
- Rate: Enter the nightly rate value.
After completing all the details, save your changes!
Map and Synchronize the Offer
- Map the Offer from the Booking Engine to the Channel Manager:
- Access Online Partners in the menu.
- Click Edit next to the Booking Engine partner.
- Select Update Rooms to import the offer from the Booking Engine.
- Locate the imported offer, select Choose Rate Plan, then the rate plan created in the Channel Manager.
- Click Synchronize to transmit the information between systems.
Verify the Offer
- Add a test booking in the booking engine using the created offer.
- Check the PMS to ensure the reservation has been imported correctly with all configured details.
