This guide will help you add and manage vouchers in the Booking Engine. You will learn how to configure a new voucher, set its operational parameters, modify or delete existing vouchers, and verify that they are working correctly. Follow the steps below to maximize the use of vouchers, simplifying the process and offering your guests personalized and attractive experiences. You can guide guests to use the vouchers they receive directly in the booking engine to benefit from discounts.

Additionally, you can add a voucher in the Booking Engine and send it to guests via email, SMS, newsletters, etc. This way, you will maintain contact with your guests and create opportunities for them to return to your property.

1. Navigate to Menu > Booking Engine
2. From the menu displayed on the left-hand side, open the Vouchers section.

Add Voucher

1. Click on Add Voucher and complete the required information.

• Voucher Name: Enter the name of the voucher. This will not appear in the booking engine but will be visible in the voucher list within the Booking Engine console.
• Voucher Code: Enter the desired voucher code or click Generate Code to let the system generate a random code. This code must be used by the guest.
• Percentage %: Enter the discount percentage value.
• Validity Period: Choose the period during which the voucher will be valid. After this period expires, the voucher can no longer be used by the guest.
• Applicable Period:Choose when the voucher should apply. There are two options:
  • Anytime: The voucher is valid at any time.
  • Set Period: Set the specific period during which the voucher is active. This defines when the guest can make a reservation and benefit from the discount.

• Applicable Voucher Usage:Choose the number of times the voucher can be applied. There are two options:
  • Unlimited: The voucher can be used for any number of reservations.
  • Limited: Specify how many times the guest can use the voucher.
• Valid For:Choose what the voucher should be valid for. There are two options:
  • Rooms: Check the types of rooms for which the voucher is valid. Then, also check the applicable rate plans.
  • Offers: Check the offers for which the voucher is valid.
• Status:Check Active Voucher to activate the voucher.
   

Once you have completed all the information, save your changes!

View Vouchers

1. You can modify an added voucher by clicking the Edit button next to it.
2. Uncheck Active Voucher to make the voucher inactive.
3. You can delete a voucher by clicking Edit and then pressing the Delete button.

Verify Voucher

1. Check that the added voucher provides the intended discount:
2. Access the booking engine.
3. Enter the voucher code in the Promotional Code field.Click the Verify button.
4. The booking engine should display the reduced rates.
