This guide will help you configure your room types to display correctly in the booking engine. Room types are automatically imported from the PMS, and require configuration to ensure a complete and attractive presentation in the booking engine. Follow the steps described for each camera type and save your changes at the end!
- Navigate to Menu > Booking Engine
- From the menu displayed on the left side, open the Room Types section.
Configure Room Types
- Click on the name of a room type to configure it.
- For each room type, there are five categories of information to complete.
Room Type
Complete the required information for the room type you are configuring and choose the rate plans for selling this room type. The information configured here is displayed in the booking engine.
- Name: The name is retrieved from the room types added in the PMS. If you wish, you can modify the name of the room type.
- Room Area: Enter the room area in square meters.
- Standard Number of Guests: Enter the standard number of guests that can stay in this room type.
- Maximum Number of Extra Guests: Enter the maximum number of extra guests that can stay in this room type in addition to the standard number of guests.
- Maximum Number of Adults: Enter the maximum number of adults that can stay in this room type. This number must not exceed the maximum number of extra guests.
- Maximum Number of Children: Enter the maximum number of children that can stay in this room type. This number must not exceed the maximum number of extra guests.
- Choose the rate plans you want to use:
- No breakfast
- Breakfast included
- Half board
- Full board
- All-inclusive
- Non-refundable Breakfast
- Non-refundable No Breakfast
- Non-refundable Half Board
- Non-refundable Full Board
- Non-refundable All-inclusive
After completing all the information, save the changes!
Facilities
Check the facilities available for the room type you are configuring from the options listed in the Booking Engine console. The selected amenities are displayed in the booking engine.

Photos
Add photos for the room type you are configuring. Drag the added photos to arrange them as desired. The added photos are displayed in the booking engine.
📌 Note: PynBooking recommends adding at least six photos for each room type to showcase all aspects of the room and increase sales opportunities.
❗If a room type does not have any photos added in the Booking Engine console, that room type will not be displayed in the booking engine.
Video
Add a representative video for this room type. Upload the desired video to YouTube and add its link in the Booking Engine console.
After completing all the information, save the changes!
Description
Complete the translation for the room type name in the languages you desire. Guests have the option to select the language in which the booking engine is displayed.
📌 Note: PynBooking recommends adding descriptions in Romanian, English, and other relevant languages, depending on the property's specifics.
