This guide will help you securely access guest card data while adhering to all security requirements and GDPR regulations.
Viewing Card Data
To view guest card data, follow these steps:
- Go to the reservation for which you want to view the card details.
- Access the Partner Book ID in the reservation summary on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Click the number associated with it to view the guest's card details, along with other reservation information.
- Guest card details are only available if the partner console from which the reservation originated is configured to require pre-authorization by the guest at the time of booking.
- On the right-hand side, click View credit card details.
- Enter the password of the logged-in user.
- Click View card details.
- Enter this security code, and the card details will be displayed.
❗ Upon first-time access to card details, the system will send an email to your user email address.
The email contains a code that must be entered into the system to validate the user and proceed to display the card details.
After entering the validation code, the system generates a security code.
Card details can only be accessed twice from the time the reservation is entered into the system until five days after the check-out date.
📌 Note: For a user to have access to view these details, their user profile in the system must have this right enabled and the GDPR Operational access level assigned.
❗ The card's CVC code is displayed only upon the first access to the card details. On subsequent views, this information will no longer be displayed.
