Room Configuration

This guide helps you correctly set up the room structure in the Pynbooking platform.

This process involves creating the structure of your property by adding each room with its unique features.

 

  1. Navigate to Menu > Property Settings
  2. Open the Room Configuration section to add the desired information.

 

Add Room Configuration

  1. Click on Room Configuration and add details about your property’s rooms:
  • Room Number: Fill in the room number.
  • Room Type: Select the room type from the options you’ve already added.

To further configure a room, click Edit on the pencil icon next to the room.

  • Floor: Select the floor where the room is located.
  • Balcony: Specify if the room has a balcony. This information will be displayed next to each room in the Reservation Calendar.
  • View: Select the room’s view. This information will also be displayed next to each room.
  • Key Code: Enter the key box code for the room, if applicable. For additional details on this, please open a ticket in the Support Center.


After completing all the information, save your changes!

Repeat the process above for all rooms in your property.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

 

❓Q: How can I change the type of an already configured room?

Answer:

To change the type of a room that is connected to online partners, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Online Partners > Channel Manager.
  2. Check which online partners the room type is mapped to.
  3. Click on the Edit option next to the selected partner.
  4. Identify the room type you want to modify and unmap all associated rate plans.
  5. After unmapping the rate plans, you will be able to unmap the room type from the online partner.
  6. Repeat this process for all connected online partners.
  7. Once these steps are completed, you can modify the room type from the Room Configuration section.

📌 Note: If the room type is connected to at least one online partner, it cannot be directly modified. Follow the detailed steps above for unmapping before making changes.


❓Q: How can I add or delete rooms in the system?

Answer:

To add or delete rooms:

  1. Open a ticket in the Support Center section.
  2. Specify in the ticket how many rooms you want to add or which rooms you want to delete.
  3. A PynBooking representative will assist you in making these changes in the system.
