General

 

This guide helps you set up the General section in Pynbooking by completing essential information about the property, such as contact details, check-in/check-out times, and visual details. These settings ensure the platform operates optimally and provides a pleasant experience for guests.

 

  1. Navigate to Menu > Property Settings
  2. Open the General section to fill out the following basic details about your property:

 

Add Basic Property Details

  • Property Name: Enter the name of your property.
  • Phone Number: Provide a contact phone number for guests.
  • Email Address: Specify the email address where guests can reach you.
  • Website Address: Enter the full address of your property’s website. If you don’t have a website, use the one generated by Pynbooking. Find more details here.
  • Logo: Upload your property's logo, which will be visible in the Booking Engine and the automatically generated website.
  • Main Image for Guest App: Add a representative image of your property. This image will be used as a background in the Guest App

It is recommended to add an image showing the exterior of the property along with the main entrance or a picture of the reception. The image should be in portrait format, as the Guest App is primarily accessed via mobile phones.

  • Stars: Select the star rating of your property.

 

Add Property Operations Details

In the same section, you will also need to provide information about your property’s operational specifics.

  • Check-in Time: Specify the check-in time for guests.
  • Check-out Time: Specify the check-out time for guests.
  • Night Audit: Set the time for the Night Audit. This represents the daily closing process in terms of bookings and finances.
  • Channel Manager Currency: Choose the currency in which you want to input rate plans in the Channel Manager.
  • Automatic Room Allocation in Channel Manager: Decide whether you want to enable automatic room allocation for reservations coming from the Channel Manager.

If you choose not to enable automatic room allocation, the reservation will be saved in the system as unallocated. Find more details about unallocated reservations here.

  • Guest WhatsApp Button: Decide whether to allow guests to send you messages on WhatsApp using the phone number entered in this section.

If you enable this button, it will be available in the Booking Engine.

 

📌 Note: The information entered in this section will be used in emails sent by the system to guests, in the Booking Engine, and in the Guest App.

 

After completing all the information, save the changes!
